Global Policy and Advocacy

Stakeholder Forum’s work on global policy and advocacy seeks to promote progressive and inclusive policy on international sustainable development. It conducts policy consultations, lobbies for particular policy outcomes at a UN level, produces briefing and background papers as well as building coalitions and setting agendas. Stakeholder Forums’ initiatives in this area are listed below:

The UN Conference on Sustainable Development in Brazil in 2012 (more commonly known as Rio+20) will be the fourth conference of its kind. It represents another milestone in ongoing international efforts to accelerate progress towards achieving sustainable development globally. Rio +20 will take place in June, 2012; 20 years after the second UN Conference on Sustainable Development held in Rio in 1992.

Earth Summit 2012

Water and Climate Coalition (formerly GPPN)
