Outline:
We intend to establish a Sustainable Energy
centre for renewable energy and sustainable development.
The mission of the Center is to make a worthwhile
and significant contribution to sustainable development through
demonstration, education research, and consultancy provision
of the highest standards. These activities help to improve quality
of life for communities and individuals, and facilitate wealth
creation.
The Objectives of the SEC:
a)Development and implementation of renewable energy systems
b)As consultant to manufacturers, local consumer groups, and
relevant initiators within renewable energy.
c)Disseminating information on renewable to trainees; concerned
citizen groups; and political decision makers focusing on decentralized
solutions.
d)Creation of a Village for Green Research, where the SEC is
situated, demonstrates practical examples of integration of
several energy solutions, solar housing, water recycling systems
etc. as an experimental and functional example of a future ecological
society.
e)We intend to raise the awareness of visitors, both individuals
and groups, who are going to visit our center every year.
f)Education of several clients. The described action consists
of the Planning and Transaction of training courses in form
of a Summer-Academy for students in the Region about the topics
of Renewable Energy. In a framework of lectures and excursions
the knowledge of experts in theory and practice will be imparted
to the students.
g)Investigating sustainable energy development and co-existence
in joint projects of students from the Israeli Arab, Palestinian
and Jewish sectors guaranteeing peace, stability and prosperity
requires a strengthening of democracy and respect for human
rights, sustainable and balanced economic and social development,
understanding between cultures and religion, which are all essential
aspects of partnership.
