Stakeholder Forum was commissioned by the Major Groups and Stakeholders Branch at the United Nations Environment Programme to conduct an analysis of how to enhance the role of Major Groups[1] and Stakeholders in UNEP's Programme of Work 2010-11.



In order to ensure more effective participation of civil society and other stakeholders in the Climate Investment Funds Second Partnerships Forum in Manila, Stakeholder Forum has been requested by the CIF Administration Unit to support stakeholders in preparing for the process and self-selecting participants to attend the meeting.


Stakeholder Forum conducted a post-meeting evaluation of the quality of civil society participation in  the UNGASS High Level Meeting on AIDS/HIV (2008) to generate a set of good practices, lessons learned and recommendations for future processes.


The UN Office of Drugs and Crime commissioned Stakeholder Forum to conduct an independent evaluation of the extent to which NGO voices were represented at the ten year review of the UN GASS on Illicit Drugs.
