Welcome to the GPA Stakeholder Forum website

The purpose of this website is to provide a resource for stakeholders about the Global Programme of Action for the Protection of the Marine Environment from Land-based Activities (GPA) and the Second Intergovernmental Review Meeting (IGR-2). Because the sources of marine pollution are diverse and the effects far-reaching, stakeholders have a vital role to play in developing solutions to prevent the degradation of the marine environment from land-based activities. Stakeholders will have numerous opportunities to input into the IGR-2, namely through regional preparatory events and multi-stakeholder dialogues at the IGR-2. We look forward to your active involvement in the preparation for IGR-2 and at the IGR-2 meeting itself. We hope this website will provide you with all the necessary information to make this happen!
